These terms apply to purchases made through nordic-hs.com. Please read them before placing an order.
1. Seller details
This website is operated by NORDIC HS LTD, company number 17467932, registered in England and Wales. Registered office: 71–75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London, WC2H 9JQ. Customer service: info@nordic-hs.com.
2. Research-use restriction
All catalogue materials are offered exclusively for legitimate laboratory, analytical and non-clinical research. They are not offered, promoted or supplied for human or veterinary administration, consumption, diagnosis, treatment or prevention of disease.
3. Purchaser confirmation
By placing an order, the purchaser confirms they are at least 18 years old, are competent to handle the materials ordered, have a legitimate research purpose, and will comply with applicable law and suitable laboratory handling controls.
4. No medical or veterinary advice
Website content, customer-service responses and supplied documentation do not constitute medical, pharmaceutical, veterinary or clinical advice. We do not provide dosing, administration, treatment or physiological-use instructions.
5. Product information
Product identity, declared quantity and available analytical documentation are provided for research procurement. Analytical reports should be read according to the product, strength and identifying information stated on the report. A report is only described as batch-specific where the documentation itself identifies the relevant batch. Product images may be illustrative unless expressly stated otherwise.
6. Orders and contract formation
Products are subject to stock availability and any lawful verification checks. A contract is formed when payment succeeds and we send the order-confirmation email. We may subsequently cancel and refund an order if we cannot lawfully fulfil it, if stock is unavailable, if there is an obvious pricing or listing error, or where the order conflicts with the research-use restrictions in these terms.
7. Prices and payment
Product prices are shown in pounds sterling. The product total, any discount and the applicable delivery charge are displayed before payment. Payments are processed through Stripe-hosted Checkout and may include payment methods made available by Stripe. We do not receive or store your full card number. If an order is cancelled after payment, any refund due will normally be returned to the original payment method.
8. Delivery, returns and risk
Delivery and return arrangements are set out on the Shipping and Returns pages. Any mandatory statutory rights remain unaffected.
9. Intellectual property
Site design, original text, branding and graphics are owned by or licensed to Nordic HS unless stated otherwise.
10. Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so, and nothing in these terms affects mandatory consumer rights. To the extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for losses caused by use of research materials outside the stated research-use restrictions or contrary to applicable law or supplied documentation.
Price Match Guarantee
Nordic HS may match a lower publicly advertised price for the same product and strength offered by an established UK research supplier, provided the competitor item is in stock and the price can be independently verified at the time of the request. Requests must be made before an order is confirmed. The guarantee excludes clearance or liquidation pricing, bundles, bulk or wholesale pricing, discount codes, temporary promotional offers, marketplace or private-group listings, delivery charges and obvious pricing errors. Nordic HS reserves the right to verify that a comparison is genuinely like-for-like before approving a price match.
11. Governing law
These Terms and any contract between you and Nordic HS are governed by the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales will have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from or relating to these Terms or any order placed with Nordic HS. If you are a consumer resident elsewhere in the United Kingdom, this does not affect any mandatory rights you have under the laws applicable to you or your right to bring proceedings in the courts available to you under applicable law.
